The portal between Norway and Sweden
The Svinesund Connection is the busiest border crossing between Norway and Sweden. The new section of the E6 road is 6.7 kilometres long and includes the new Svinesund Bridge, which has a span of just over 700 metres. From July 2005 and for the next 20 years, the Svinesund Connection will be a toll road.

Vehicles passing Svinesund with a valid AutoPASS On-Board Unit (OBU) will receive a 13 per cent discount. In any calendar month, passenger cars with an AutoPASS OBU will only be charged for the first 16 crossings. >>>
